Life has turned upside down. I graduated my International Business Baccalaureate diploma this July, which should have left me happy and ready to celebrate life. Instead, it left me stressed and unsure of what’s next.
It took several weeks of doubting myself, trying to find an answer everywhere I looked. Through meditation, traveling to Italy and spending some time to find myself, I finally found my true calling. I want to pursue blogging and develop a social media image to challenge my inner creativity. I found that that is truly what I enjoy doing. Besides this, I started writing articles for the online magazine, Career Girl Daily, and most of what I am proud of is that I started my own business.
My own business. I would never have thought that entrepreneurship would excite me, but I wake up every morning and feeling amazing! I am selling handmade Italian jewelry at SHOPBYJULIANACHOW on Etsy. I personally handpicked them, and I adore every design and color combination by heart. And not only that; a purchase supports families in Guatemala that were in on the trade of the beads used to produce the jewelry.
I finally feel like I am going the right direction. I believe that personal development is truly about feeling that you are developing as a person and that you are challenging yourself without stressing and rushing through life. I feel like that is what I am doing right now.
This outfit is an everyday chic look, that is comfy yet stylish. I adore the embroidery on the shorts, that makes the look stand out. Also, these sunnies have been my go-to through the whole summer, because I love the subtle cat-eye shape.
